What we look at first: which edition you run and which access path it offers.
We determine the Workcube version, whether it runs in the cloud or on-premises, and which modules are active. The partner who installed it is brought in.
Whether WEX and web services are open in your installation is checked with Workcube or your partner. If not, read-only database access is considered with approval.
A separate read-only user is set up and only the necessary data types are allowed. Results are compared with account and stock records in Workcube.
For cloud setups the vendor's access rules are clarified; for on-premises, the firewall and VPN arrangement. Queries are re-tested after version updates.

Workcube presents WEX (Workcube Exchange Point) as an environment used for data exchange. We could not verify its technical details in a public source.

The vendor says it offers both deployment models. We choose the connection path together, based on which one your installation uses.
The main sources are the Workcube wiki and vendor or partner support. The wiki documents e-document and bank integrations, but no general API reference was seen.
The customer is told that the information is not available right now and the conversation is handed to your team. No answer is made up from old data.
