What can be asked on WhatsApp

  • Customer and supplier records
  • Sales and purchase invoices
  • Sales quotes
  • Products, stock movements and warehouses
  • Cash/bank accounts and account transactions
  • e-Invoice, e-Archive and e-SMM records

Access paths

  • REST API (V4)Paraşüt provides a documented, JSON:API-compliant REST API. According to its documentation, almost every action in the web interface can be performed through the API.Client credentials are requested from Paraşüt; which plan includes API access should be confirmed with the vendor.
  • OAuth2 authorizationAccess is granted through OAuth2, with separate flows for user-approved connections and background services. Access tokens expire, so a refresh flow is required. For a background service, a separate user with limited permissions is recommended.

Worth knowing

  • API client credentials are requested from Paraşüt; we found no source showing they can be self-issued.
  • Which plan includes the API, and the conditions of the application process, should be confirmed with the vendor.
  • The documentation defines a request rate limit, so WhatsApp queries use caching and queuing.
  • The API documentation's latest change log entry is old; its currency should be confirmed with Paraşüt.
How-to

How to connect Paraşüt to WhatsApp.

Identify your Paraşüt company number and the user to be used. Client credentials for the API are requested from Paraşüt.

Only read endpoints (such as customers, invoices and accounts) are opened. The connection is tested with a small query.

  4. 04

01Does Paraşüt have a publicly available API?

Yes, the Paraşüt API V4 documentation is published. It states that almost every action in the web interface can be done through the API, and asks that client credentials be requested from Paraşüt.

02How do you connect to the Paraşüt API?

OAuth2 is used, with two defined flows: a user-approved connection and background access with user credentials. The access token is time-limited and renewed with a refresh token.

03What can be asked about Paraşüt over WhatsApp?

Based on the documented endpoints, customer, invoice, product, stock and account transaction data can be read. Which ones are enabled depends on the authorized user and your needs.

04Does Paraşüt's request limit matter?

The documentation defines a request rate limit. For that reason, frequent queries are cached and requests are queued; query frequency is planned together for heavy use.

05What if Paraşüt is offline or slow?

The customer is told that the information is not available right now and the conversation is handed to your team. No answer is made up from old data.

06How long does setup take?

A single flow (for example stock and price enquiries) is usually live within days; wider setups are added step by step. Setup is remote, anywhere in Turkey.
